 This Blog is about what I know for now in Adobe Photoshop CS3. First is memorize or learn to the shorcut keys to make the use of photoshop easier.

SHORTCUT KEYS THAT I ALWAYS USED

1) Shift B + any number you want ----- to change the brush opacity
2) Control shift N ----- to make a new layer
3) Shift + any number ------- to change the flow of the brush
4) Press X ------ to switch between foreground color and the background color
5) Ctrl + N ------ for new canvas
6) Ctrl + X-----to cut pictures
7)Ctrl +V ----- to paste
8) Shift + V ----- fo move tool( click the box that says show transform tool to change the size of the image)
9) Alt + left click ( make sure you are using brush)  or Press I + left click---- to copy pictures
10) Ctrl  Shift S ------ for saving
11) Ctrl + R ----- to show ruler

SHORTCUT FOR TOOLS

1) Shift + V ----- move tool
2)Shift + M ------ for marquee
3) Shift + L ------ lasso tool
4) Shift + W ----------- wand
5) Shift + C ------- crop
6) Shift + K ------- slice tool
7) Shift + J---- healing brush
8) Shift + B ------ brush
9) Shift + S ----- stamp
10) Shift + Y---- history brush tool
11) Shift + E ----- for eraser
12)   Shift + G ---- paint bucket tool
13) Shift + R ---- smudge tool
14) Shift +  O ---- dodge tool
15) Shift + P ---- pen tool
16)Shift + T ---- for text

     
 TO MAKE SAND EFFECTS

1) Draw and Color first.
2) right click , duplicate layer ( name this as  "noise") , then go to filter. add noise, then use splatter or the brush type that looks like a sand .
